Following the March merger of 360 Destination Group and the CSI destination management company, a new creative agency has risen from the collaboration. Cohera was launched at IMEX America this week in Las Vegas with a brand reveal at the House of Blues.
Marrying their expansive nationwide reach, decades of expertise, and a passion for delivering imaginative experiences, Cohera now is one of the largest DMCs in the United States, and aims to transform what clients, partners, and the broader meetings and events world can expect from a destination management company.
"We're not just launching a new brand — we're redefining what destination management means," said Trevor Hanks, now CEO of Cohera after serving nearly 14 years as a managing partner of 360 Destination Group. "With our combined strengths, creative horsepower and seamless nationwide infrastructure, we can deliver experiences that are bolder, smarter and more impactful than ever before."
Combined slate of services
Cohera serves 46 destinations throughout the United States, as well as in the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands. The agency also is offering event-design services, culinary expertise, entertainment suggestions, teambuilding and CSR opportunities.
"Our clients can expect a partner who listens, innovates and delivers," said Hope Valentine, now co-president of Cohera after nearly 15 years at CSI. "We know the stakes are high when it comes to their programs, and we're here to exceed those expectations every time."
"We're merging not only the expertise of two industry leaders, but also the heart and soul of our people," said Shelly Archer, co-president of Cohera, who comes to the new venture after 15 years as a managing partner of 360 Destination Group. "Our culture is what sets us apart — transparent, collaborative and fueled by creativity. We've taken the best of both companies and built something even stronger, for our employees and for our clients."
