Northstar Meetings Group has announced that Destination Caribbean + Islands, the must-attend hosted-buyer event for qualified meeting and incentive professionals sourcing programs in the Caribbean and Islands, will be held Sept. 4-7 in gorgeous Paradise Island in the Bahamas. This year's hosts are the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Atlantis Paradise Island.

Qualified planners will engage in one-on-one meetings and networking opportunities with representatives from destinations, resorts, hotels and DMCs from throughout the Caribbean and Islands. In addition to gaining valuable insight from their peers and experts during educational sessions, participants will experience the warm hospitality and vibrant culture of the Bahamas.

The agenda includes site tours of the recently renovated Atlantis, the Margaritaville Nassau Resort and the British Colonial Nassau. Attendees will have two afternoons of free time, when they can participate in activities like a catamaran sail, a fishing excursion, time at the waterpark and more.

Education sessions will be led by Hillary Smith, founder of Smith & Stone Creative Leadership and Consulting, on event design; and by Arlene Nash Ferguson, educator and historian, on the history of the Bahamas. Smith will also hold an experience design workshop at a poolside cabana.
