Independent Planner Education Conference
Designed exclusively for independent planners not associated with third-party organizations, IPEC will be held Jan. 21-23, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Greenville in South Carolina. The agenda includes networking opportunities and meetings with suppliers, with options for both hosted and nonhosted buyers.
The event focuses on education, with sessions that include: "Hot Topics in Meeting Contracts" presented by Christina Pannos, a partner at Howe & Hutton, Ltd.; "Finding and Keeping Fantastic Clients" presented by MJ Impastato, founder of Mojo Coaching & Consulting; "Sourcing Tools and Time Savers" presented by Brett Sterenson, president of Hotel Lobbyists; and "Putting AI to Work for You" presented by Nick Borelli, director of marketing for Zenus.
Sterenson also will be a panelist for a pricing workshop, along with Tracey Bockhop, CEO of Meet Meetings, and Michele Stephenson, chief event strategist and founder of MDS Events, LLC. Loren Edelstein, vice president and content director for Northstar Meetings Group, will moderate the session.

Successful Meetings University International returns to the New York Marriott Marquis on March 11-13. The hosted-buyer event is open to meeting and incentive professionals who are sourcing programs all over the world.
