Terry Jones

Managing principal of ON Inc

Best known for founding Travelocity.com and serving as founding Chairman of Kayak.com, Terrell (Terry) Jones is a powerful voice in the world of entrepreneurship and disruptive technologies. He began his career as a travel agent, then spent 24 years at American Airlines in marketing and information technology, ultimately serving as chief information officer of American’s SABRE division. While at SABRE, he led a team of six working on a project that became Travelocity.com. 

Jones was CEO of Travelocity for seven years, transforming it to a public company with $3 billion in travel sales. He then co-founded Kayak.com, a company that yet again revolutionized how travel was purchased, and served as chairman until it was sold to Priceline for $1.8 billion in 2013. 

Today, Jones is the managing principal of ON Inc. a consultancy he founded to help companies in their transition to the digital economy. He is the author of the best-selling books ON Innovation and Disruption OFF, and holds several patents. 

Bruce McIndoe

Bruce McIndoe

President and Founder, McIndoe Risk Advisory LLC

Bruce is a recognized leader in risk management, technology and intelligence. He was a co-founder of iJET International in 1999, which was rebranded as WorldAware in 2018. The company quickly became a leader in global intelligence and business resiliency with the development of the Worldcue Global Control Center (GCC). 

Prior to joining WorldAware, Bruce was founder and CEO of CSSi, an Inc. 500 company that developed systems for the intelligence community. He has also served as a lead architect on intelligence programs for the US government.

Bruce is a former trustee of Allegheny College, where he received a BS in Physics, and holds an MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. He is an adjunct professor at University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) where he teaches in the Criminal Justice division covering intelligence, security management and cyber security courses.

While some countries open fully others are restricting meeting size, museum visits even restaurant visits to those who can present a covid passport. Terry Jones, founder of Travelocity.com and founding chairman of Kayak.com has been working with governments and travel leaders to make it easy for US travelers obtain digital vaccine records. His session will discuss the latest the latest developments in this process and the implications for the meetings and events industry. Half the session will be Q&A.
