Northstar Meetings Group has selected a magical place to hold Destination Hawaii, the annual hosted-buyer event that connects influential buyers with suppliers from throughout the Hawaiian Islands. The 2024 event will take place Nov. 6-8 at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.
"The resort's oceanfront location on the leeward coast of Oahu is ideal," noted Joe Medwetz, senior sales & services director for Aulani. "Here, you have a neighborhood feel, removed from the crowds of Waikiki yet close enough to enjoy the wonders of the island."
The property sits within Ko Olina resort, formerly a sacred area for Hawaiian monarchs and leaders to rest and unwind. Ko Olina, which means "place of joy," is home to spectacular beaches, serene lagoons, a championship golf course, shopping, dining and watersports.
The resort's name, Aulani, is Hawaiian for "messenger of a chief." The property was imaginatively designed to embrace time-honored traditions, with local art and design throughout.
