As senior director of event management for Maritz Global Events, Michelle Flowers ensures a number of target accounts have the staffing and operational support needed to remain successful. She frequently participates in client site inspections, design sessions, event operations and proposals. Flowers most recently onboarded the new brand events team that oversees all Maritz events for employees, clients and supplier partners, as well as industry events. She manages a team of approximately 50 direct and indirect reports made up of meeting and event managers, travel account managers, and operations managers. She is always looking for opportunities to streamline efforts and sharpen her team’s effectiveness for clients. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, camping and exploring Arizona, where she lives with her three children.

Hillary Smith

Hillary Smith, CMP, CSEP, has a passion and proven track record of leading and cultivating cultures of creative thinkers. She is an award-winning visionary who has mastered the Design Thinking Process, a method of creative problem-solving used by brands including Starbucks, Amazon and Apple. She has more than a decade of experience leading strategy in the meetings and events creative space. Smith cofounded Koncept Events in 2008, a leading DMC in North America, where she designed events for clients including McKinsey & Company, Bank of America, Proctor & Gamble, and Nike. The firm was acquired by PRA Business Events in 2019, with Smith continuing to drive strategy and creativity within the organization. As a true ambassador of the creative process, she continues to innovate alongside her team and clients.

Shannon Lane DuPont

Director of Program Development

Since 2007, Shannon DuPont has played a key role with TeamBonding. As director of program development, she is responsible for creating, customizing and producing new events. Her passion for the job inspires her to develop ideas that empower teams. She works directly with clients from every industry to assess their needs and find innovative ways to achieve them. By embracing their vision and company culture, she helps the build strong bonds that move them toward their goals.
