As senior director of event management for Maritz Global Events, Michelle Flowers ensures a number of target accounts have the staffing and operational support needed to remain successful. She frequently participates in client site inspections, design sessions, event operations and proposals. Flowers most recently onboarded the new brand events team that oversees all Maritz events for employees, clients and supplier partners, as well as industry events. She manages a team of approximately 50 direct and indirect reports made up of meeting and event managers, travel account managers, and operations managers. She is always looking for opportunities to streamline efforts and sharpen her team’s effectiveness for clients. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, camping and exploring Arizona, where she lives with her three children.

clients including McKinsey & Company, Bank of America, Proctor & Gamble, and Nike. The firm was acquired by PRA Business Events in 2019, with Smith continuing to drive strategy and creativity within the organization. As a true ambassador of the creative
process, she continues to innovate alongside her team and clients.
