Two luxury hotel brands have announced they will open ski resorts in the French Alps.
Raffles Hotels & Resorts will debut a property in Courchevel 1850, a luxury ski area within Les Trois Vallees ski area. Set to open in 2028, Raffles Courchevel will have 50 guest rooms, two restaurants, a bar and a tea
lounge. Other amenities include a spa with a pool, a fitness center and longevity-focused wellness therapies. It will be Raffles' sixth European property.
Scheduled to debut in 2030 is One&Only Resorts' ski hotel,
which will be built at the site of the historic Courcheneige Hotel.
Like Raffles’ resort, this new property will be set in France’s Les
Trois Vallees ski area.
The resort will contain a mix of guest rooms, suites and branded
private homes. It will offer ski-in/ski-out access to the Bellecote slope,
as well several dining and bar venues. Plans also call for a wellness facility with
private treatment rooms and post-ski recovery therapies.
The property will be One & Only’s second ski resort; it’s first, One&Only Moonlight Basin, opened in Montana in 2025.
