The Events Industry Council has launched the EIC Knowledge Hub, an online resource providing event professionals with the latest education, courses and trends regarding the meetings industry.
EIC says the new hub will facilitate registration for webinars and will allow meeting professionals to access past courses and sessions covering topics such as sustainability, risk management, meeting or event design, and strategic planning. The platform will provide personalized user experiences and the ability to access content at any time, from anywhere and via multiple devices.
"The new hub allows current and those interested in becoming Certified Meeting Professionals the opportunity to easily access, track and advance their learning," said Amy Calvert, EIC's CEO, said in a news release. "Education is the hallmark of the EIC and it's a testament to our industry that it is a priority of our members."
EIC has long had an interest in furthering the knowledge and resources of professionals who lead the business of meetings. The council's overall mission is to strengthen the value and sustainability of its members, support meeting professional credentials, and provide a platform for addressing critical issues pertinent to ensuring industry longevity.
