IMEX America 2025: Where Learning, Wellness and Community Converge

A message from Carina Bauer, IMEX CEO.

Learn about all that's available for event planners, plan your education and networking and review other insights by visiting Northstar Meetings Group's IMEX America Event Hub.

“People are yearning to connect…bringing people together to have the right conversations shifts how the world interacts.”

That’s according to Dr. Vumile Msweli, author, philanthropist and contributor to our recent report, "The Power of Experiences: Redesigning Events for Human Connection."
And we couldn’t agree more.

Live, face-to-face events can have a profound impact on the world. That’s why we evolve IMEX America each year so that it’s perfectly placed to help planners supercharge the positive pact of their own events.

As always, this edition of the show brings together a global lineup of motivated suppliers — from hundreds of destinations and venues to hotels, technology providers, DMCs, incentive product companies and more.

A Colorful B2B Engine

Nestled inside this colorful business-to-business engine is our education program. Having listened to what our attendees want from these personal and professional development sessions, we’ve shifted towards practical actions and analysis that help inform their face-to-face meetings on the show floor.

Sessions on budgeting, trends and AI were among the most highly attended last year, so we’ve expanded on these topics with some intriguing new angles. They include: "The Art of Negotiation: How Psychology Drives Event Impact;" "More Impact, Same Budget: Harnessing the Power of Behavioral Science for Events;" and "Train your Brain: Mastering Mental Health Fitness in the Age of AI."

Our aim with this 150+ session learning program is to showcase a variety of perspectives while also giving attendees the space to have their own, more personal, conversations.

There’s also plenty of scope to rest and recharge during busy show days. No one wants to leave our show “IMEXhausted” anymore! We've carved out quiet areas to catch up with work or to “rest and digest.” In addition, the Circadian Cove with Olympian Meetings has a program of sessions (including breathwork and meditation), and the Resilience Room with Hello! DMC is designed as a calm retreat to help manage overwhelm.

One of our goals is for this show to be as warm, welcoming and inclusive as possible — we’re now working with the American and Australian Psychological Associations on a groundbreaking case study, for example. This year’s IMEX America will be one of the first global events measured against their Neurodiverse Inclusive Event Certification — creating a new standard for inclusive event design.

So I encourage you to dive in here, see what’s in store at IMEX America and understand how our show can help anyone in the events supply chain take their impact and results to influential new levels.
