Northstar Meetings Group has announced that Destination Southeast, the premier hosted-buyer event for meeting and incentive professionals sourcing programs in the Southeastern United States, will be held Aug. 18-20 at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa in Point Clear, Ala.
Qualified buyers are invited to participate in one-on-one appointments and networking with exhibitors from destinations, resorts, hotels and DMCs from Florida, the Carolinas, Kentucky and more. The three-day event also includes two education sessions, as well as activities that will showcase the destination.
"The Southeast is a vibrant supplier market that is highly sought after by our planner audience," said Shalise DeMott, vice president of sales for Northstar Meetings Group. "While Florida has traditionally been the host for this event, we're excited to bring Destination Southeast to Alabama, promising an exceptional experience for all attendees."
On the Gulf Coast of Alabama, the host-resort features 405 rooms, nine dining options, two golf courses, 11 pickleball courts and more than 37,000 square feet of meeting space.
