Nick BorelliNorthstar Meetings Group has announced the speakers for Successful Meetings University International: Richard Quest, international correspondent for CNN, and Nick Borelli, director of marketing at Zenus. Taking place at the New York Marriott Marquis on March 11-13, the hosted-buyer event is designed for meeting and incentive planners who are actively booking programs around the world.
Borelli, the keynote speaker, will lead an education session the morning of March 12 on harnessing the power of artificial intelligence for events. Planners and suppliers will learn how they can benefit from generative AI and discriminative deep-learning tools, as well as AI enhancements for attendee engagement, DEI initiatives and data collection. With a background in experience design, event technology and digital marketing, Borelli provides a deeper understanding of all things AI.
Richard QuestThe following day, Quest will share personal tales from his career,
along with hospitality wisdom he's gained from being CNN's foremost
international business correspondent, and presenter of "Quest Means Business,"
which airs on CNN International, and bridges the gap between hard
economics and entertaining television. He has regularly reported from
G20 meetings, attends the annual World Economics Forum
in Switzerland and has covered every major financial crisis since Black
Monday in 1987. Among the topics he will discuss are the critical
difference between experiences and travel, what great customer service
means in hospitality today, and new and future realities that are
changing travel.
Planners attending SMU International 2024 will have one-on-one appointments with suppliers, such as
Meet in Ireland,
Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong and
Essential Costa Rica.
