MGME Acquires Key Meetings & Events

MGME, a global meetings, events and incentive travel agency that is part of the InteleTravel portfolio, has acquired Key Meetings & Events, a full-service agency with more than 35 years of experience serving private equity firms, portfolio companies and corporate clients.

The acquisition doubles MGME's revenue and team size, while adding KM&E's corporate and private equity expertise and long-standing client relationships to its global meetings and events business.

KM&E founder Heather Keenan joins MGME as executive director. Under her leadership, the San Francisco–based agency manages more than 40 events a year across North America and internationally, and has deep experience serving the complex, high-touch needs of private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

With headquarters in New York City and British Columbia, MGME has delivered programs in more than 70 countries and offers specialized services, including hotel-sourcing solutions through SourceCraft and air-travel management with Air Logic, as well as creative services and event production. Through the acquisition, clients of Key Meetings & Events will gain access to these capabilities.

The KM&E brand will continue as Key Meetings & Events, an MGME Company. Clients will continue working with the team they know, with MGME's broader services and global resources behind them.
