The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) released its 2017 events calendar today, and the big news is a major change in the dates of the SITE Global Conference. The association's flagship event for global incentive travel professionals, traditionally held in the fourth quarter, will move to January.
As the 2016 Global Conference ran from Nov. 5-7 in Panama this year, SITE will not host one in 2017, so the next SITE Global Conference will be held on Jan. 12-15, 2018, in Rome. The 2019 Global Conference will be in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 2018 SITE Executive Summit, which is a regional event traditionally held at the beginning of the year, will likely move to the fall in 2018, although no final decision has been made.
