Planners looking to take their groups abroad have myriad options for 2026 as far as new hotels go. This year's lineup of international properties coming online ranges from expansive resorts in the Caribbean to boutique hotels in historic Chinese neighborhoods.
Cayman Islands

Opening: Summer
On the southern end of the famed Seven Mile Beach, the Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort and Spa will begin welcoming guests in May. The property will include 382 rooms, 42,000 square feet of event venues and six food-and-beverage outlets. Twenty feet offshore, guests will be able to scuba dive down to the wreck of the Gamma, a 100-foot vessel that sank during a storm in 1981 and now is home to coral and fish.

Opening: Spring
The One | GT now is accepting reservations for May 2026 and beyond. In George Town, the resort will include 177 accommodations, a rooftop terrace with indoor/outdoor dining and private cabanas, two pools, a fitness center with saunas, and 4,655 square feet of meeting space. Culinary highlights will range from French-Mediterranean fare at Perle, to Italian baked goods at Cafe Bellini and Asian cuisine at Byū.
China
The Dali Edition
Opening: April
The Dali Edition is set to debut soon, marking the third property in China for the Marriott brand. Plans for the hotel include 150 rooms — most of which will have views of either Cangshan Mountain or Erhai Lake — plus multiple bars and restaurants, and a 6,400-square-foot event lawn.
Patina Tianjin
Opening: Mid-2026
In Tianjin's Italian Heritage District, the Patina Tianjin will comprise 17 historic buildings spread across nearly 20,000 square feet. Accommodations are set to include 150 guest rooms and a 6,400-square-foot presidential villa. Three event venues will provide 3,500 square feet of space for groups.

Opening: April
Hospitality group Posadas is launching a new all-inclusive brand in Punta Cana. There will be no shortage of dining options, with 10 restaurants and six bars, including a cigar bar and a juice bar. With a focus on entertainment, the 494-room resort will feature an arcade, a bowling alley and a sprawling waterpark. Planners can take advantage of the 25,000 square feet of conference venues.

Opening: Spring
Lopesan Hotel Group is expanding its footprint in Punta Cana. The sprawling Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa and Casino is set to feature 552 keys, 25 food-and-beverage options and a 16,000-square-foot spa with 31 treatment rooms. At the Lopesan Convention Center, a ballroom, seven breakout rooms and an outdoor plaza make up more than 44,000 square feet of meeting areas. The Boulevard, an open-air promenade lined with dining outlets, connects the property to the 239-suite Lopesan Serenity Bay and the 244-room Lopesan Splash Cove, which are also anticipated to open this spring.
Ghana
Hilton Accra Cantonments
Opening: December
Hilton will make its debut in the African country later this year with the 145-room Hilton Accra Cantonments. Onsite amenities include an all-day restaurant, a spa, a gym and an outdoor pool. For groups, there will be nearly 10,000 square feet of conference facilities.
Greece

A long-awaited property will be unveiled this year as part of the Ilisian, a multipurpose development that formerly housed the Hilton Athens. On top of 278 rooms and suites will be 18 Conrad residences, as well as 37 private residences under the Waldorf Astoria flag. The Ilisian will offer a lifestyle members' club, retail outlets, a wellness center, nine restaurants and bars, and nearly 22,000 square feet of conference space.
Hilton Chania Old Town Resort and Spa
Opening: June
Accepting reservations for stays beginning June 1, the Hilton Chania Old Town Resort and Spa will feature 85 rooms and suites, each with a private pool and views of the Aegean Sea, as well as meeting rooms for up to 250 people. Guests can enjoy a rooftop pool club, a 6,500-square-foot spa and a fitness center. Chania Old Town has recently been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Conrad Corfu
Opening: August
The Conrad Corfu will begin welcoming guests to the southern part of the Greek island this summer. The resort will offer 136 rooms, suites and villas, most of which are equipped with either a private pool or hot tub, as well as three event rooms totaling more than 3,000 square feet. Michelin-starred Alexandros Tsiotinis will curate the property's signature fine-dining restaurant.
India

The Den Bengaluru is expected to be unveiled in the southern Indian city this spring, marking Hilton's first LXR property in the country. The hotel's dining options will include Layla, a rooftop restaurant serving a fusion of Mediterranean cuisine with Indian spices; the Creek, open 24 hours a day with indoor and outdoor seating; and the Nest, a casual lounge with craft cocktails and pool tables. The blueprint for the resort also features 226 rooms and nearly 9,000 square feet of function space.

Formerly the Meliá Bali, the Paradisus by Meliá Bali opened this month on the shores of Nusa Dua. The first property in Southeast Asia for the Paradisus brand offers 492 suites and villas, eight restaurants, and seven event rooms totaling 18,400 square feet. Two experiences are available for booking: The Reserve, an adults-only sanctuary with a private pool, beach and restaurant; and Family Concierge, featuring two kids clubs, a waterpark and spacious suites.
Italy
Lake Como Edition
Opening: March
The Lake Como Edition is scheduled to open soon with 148 rooms, including two penthouse suites. The hotel will feature a private dock and a waterfront restaurant with views of the Bellagio mountains. A refurbished 19th-century building, the property also will include a fitness center and a spa with 10 treatment rooms. Meeting space has not yet been announced.
Japan
Conrad Nagoya
Opening: July
The Conrad Nagoya will begin welcoming guests to the Japanese city this summer, providing 170 rooms, four restaurants, a spa and an indoor pool. While the total amount of meeting areas has yet to be confirmed, a ballroom will be able to accommodate up to 180 attendees.
Malaysia
Conrad Kuala Lumpur
Opening: Mid-2026
In the city's Golden Triangle District, the Conrad Kuala Lumpur will open with 481 rooms, five dining outlets and two floors of event areas. The 50-floor hotel also will provide a spa, a fitness center and a pool. During free time, guests can explore such nearby attractions as the Petronas Twin Towers and the Bukit Bintang neighborhood.
Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi Resort
Opening: March
Overlooking the Andaman Sea, the Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi Resort will soon welcome guests to the Malaysian island of Langkawi. Plans for the property include 251 rooms and suites (some of which will have private rooftop patios), indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and five function areas spanning more than 7,500 square feet. Wellness experiences abound, from an outdoor sauna surrounded by the rainforest to plunge pools made with onsen-style rocks, to a salt room.

The Waldorf Astoria will debut its first property in Malaysia later this year. Rising 23 stories, the hotel will have 272 suites and world-class dining, such as the brand's signature Peacock Alley. For groups, there will be more than 45,000 square feet of function venues, such as the 17,000-square-foot pillarless grand ballroom.
Mexico

The capital of Mexico will get its first Pendry property, scheduled to open at the end of the year with 114 keys and 20 residences. Guests will have access to a plethora of amenities, such as a rooftop pool, the Spa Pendry and a chef-driven alfresco restaurant. Planners can take advantage of more than 3,000 square feet of space for groups.
Saudi Arabia

Part of a high-end, mixed-use real estate project, the Conrad Riyadh Laysen Valley is scheduled to open in the Saudi Arabian capital this year. The property will provide 170 rooms and nearly 5,400 square feet of conference facilities. An indoor pool, fitness center, boutique spa and two dining outlets also will be available to travelers.
Taiwan
Signia by Hilton Tainan

The first Signia by Hilton in the Asia-Pacific region is expected to open this summer, adding 344 keys and 19,000 square feet of meeting rooms to the vibrant destination. The property also will have a signature restaurant, a spa and a fitness center. Guests staying in Club Signia accommodations will have access to bespoke concierge services and enhanced in-room amenities.

In the central business district of the Thai capital, the 419-room Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit is anticipated to begin welcoming guests in June. United Arab Emirates
Gran Meliá Dubai Jumeirah
Opening: December
Scheduled to debut at the end of the year, the Gran Meliá Dubai Jumeirah will have 372 accommodations, including 83 suites. Other offerings are more than 450 feet of beachfront on the Arabian Gulf, marina access, and conference facilities that can hold up to 1,000 attendees. On the food-and-beverage front, Japanese, Chinese, Turkish, Italian and Spanish cuisines will be served at various establishments.
United Kingdom

The Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch will begin welcoming guests to one of the city's most iconic landmarks this spring. Originally commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria, the Admiralty Arch stands at the opposite end of the Mall from Buckingham Palace, offering views of the royal residence in one direction and Trafalgar Square in the other. Plans for the property call for 100 rooms and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 300 attendees.

The Fairmont Hanoi is accepting reservations for Feb. 22 and beyond. Blending Indochinese motifs with French colonial influences, the hotel will include 241 keys, two swimming pools and nearly 25,000 square feet of conference areas. Foodies can feast on a variety of fares, from Italian at Bacco to Japanese at Hiryu and authentic Vietnamese with a twist at Tran Dynasty.
