Curio by Hilton Resort to Open in the Dominican Republic

The property, set to open in 2028, will be located at Las Terrenas, on the island’s Samaná Peninsula.

Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio by Hilton, is set to open in 2028 on the Dominican Republic’s Samaná Peninsula. The beachfront property will feature 252 guest accommodations, including 90 hotel rooms and 162 residential units. Residence owners will have the option to include their units in the hotel inventory.

Amenities will include a beach club with private cabanas, four outdoor pools with adult and family-friendly options, two padel courts, lush gardens and green spaces, and a full-service spa with a state-of-the-art fitness center. Dining options will include a signature beach club restaurant, an all-day dining venue and a poolside bar.

The destination, Las Terrenas, offers pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters, hiking trails, waterfalls, whale-watching excursions, and easy access to Los Haitises National Park, which is renowned for its caves and mangroves.

Hilton plans to almost double its Caribbean portfolio, which currently includes nearly 50 properties welcoming guests across the island nations. In the Dominican Republic, the company wants to more than double its current portfolio of nine hotels.
