Lifestyle hotel brand Hyatt Centric’s newest location is in Buckhead, an upscale neighborhood in Atlanta. The 218-room property is scheduled to open Dec. 14. The hotel will have more than 3,700 square feet of event space, including three meeting rooms, one social space and one boardroom. The names of the rooms — including Stoneware, Artisan and Jugtown — are a tribute to Georgia’s historic pottery heritage. The meeting space will also have built-in wet bar areas, floor-to-ceiling windows and lounge seating.
The Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta will have two restaurants: Mount Royal and Spaceman. The hotel’s main dining establishment, Mount Royal is a Montreal-style steakhouse combining the culinary styles of Quebec with produce from local farmers. On the 15th floor, Spaceman is an indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge featuring craft cocktails, shareable dishes and views of the Atlanta skyline.
Amenities include a fitness center equipped with Peloton bikes and a pool/sun deck on the second-floor rooftop. Guests will also have access to PATH400, a greenway to explore the city by bike or on foot. Surrounding the property in the commercial district are many shopping, dining and nightlife options.
“From our 15th floor rooftop with panoramic views of the beautiful city skyline to our seven stunning suites, two restaurants led by an incredible James Beard Award-winning chef and design that pays homage to the artistic history of Georgia, our hotel will be full of personality and truly unlike any other in the neighborhood,” said Kristi Cotten, general manager of Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta.
