The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence and the
Association of Destination Management Executives International have announced a
partnership that will see the two associations strengthen their ties and commitment to elevating incentive travel.
Through the partnership, SITE and ADMEI will provide educational sessions at each other’s annual
meetings, share webinars with the collective member base, and
promote the value of the other's organization.
"SITE's mission is to
advance the business case for incentive travel and motivational experiences
through global connections, education and advocacy by building and bridging
cultures through the transformative power of incentive travel and motivational
experiences, and the global DMC sector is the repository of local knowledge,
expertise and connections," said SITE CEO Annette Gregg, CMM. "By using a local DMC, corporate and agency buyers
can rely on seamless logistics, access to unique local experiences and
partnership with professionals who deliver corporate and program objectives in
their destination."
The two organizations will work together to elevate the
professionalism and status of the DMC sector by sharing best practices,
educational resources and research, Gregg added.

for incentive travel through this exciting new partnership," stated ADMEI president Lonise Carey, DMCP.

Both Gregg and Carey have been named 2023 Meetings Industry Influencers by Northstar Meetings Group. Gregg was cited for her community-building
within SITE during her first year as the group’s CEO. Carey was lauded for
furthering the message of DMC value and professionalism within the events
industry.
