Hilton Hotels and Resorts will more than double its footprint in Puerto Rico by 2025. The company’s hotel pipeline on the island is its largest Caribbean growth market.

The new properties will include the 186-room Condado Palm Inn San Juan, a Tapestry Collection hotel, which is scheduled to open later this year. Opening in 2025 will be the dual-branded 332-room San Juan Condado Plaza, a Curio Collection property, and the 240-room Hilton Garden Inn San Juan Condado; the 153-room Hilton Garden Inn Dorado; the 77-room Tru by Hilton San Juan Condado; the 138-room Hampton by Hilton San Juan City Center; the 120-room Hampton by Hilton Ponce; and the 118-room Homewood Suites by Hilton San Juan City Center.

The new properties will join Hilton’s current Puerto Rico portfolio of seven hotels and resorts: the 652-room Caribe Hilton, the 255-room Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort, the 572-room Condado Plaza Hilton, the 184-room DoubleTree by Hilton San Juan, the 174-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Dorado del Mar Beach Resort, the 313-room Embassy Suites by Hilton San Juan Hotel & Casino, and 201-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton San Juan.

“Puerto Rico plays a critical role in Hilton’s history, as it kick-started the company’s global growth when it welcomed Hilton’s first hotel outside the Continental United States in 1949, with the opening of the iconic Caribe Hilton,” said Pablo Maturana, Hilton's vice president of development for the Caribbean and Latin America. “Nearly 75 years later, our deep-seated commitment to Puerto Rico is as strong as ever, as we plan to introduce Hilton’s brands in new destinations across the island of enchantment.”
