While lack of diversity has long been an issue within the meetings industry, the death of George Floyd in May brought a renewed focus to the matter. But six months later, it's clear that there's still much work to be done.

Dunn has been leading the charge for change within the meetings industry and spent the past year serving as chairman of the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals. That term ended in November and he will now serve as co-chair of the Event Industry Council's new Equity Task Force.
 
Here, he discusses these roles as well as where the meetings industry stands now in terms of diversity and what changes he'd like to see in the year ahead.
