While virtual happy hours might be wearing thin, learning to mix up new cocktails with a small group can really get the social juices flowing. Ten to One, maker of dark and white rums — as well as a limited reserve bottling of four hand-selected casks of 17-year-old Trinidadian rum — hosts cocktail-making classes for a minimum of 10 people, at $69 per participant, which includes a bottle of the dark and white each. For a recent event, Camille Wilson, writer of the Cocktail Snob blog, played mixologist as guests created such delights as the perfect daiquiri, a rum negroni or the spicy gold rush. The company has a handful of other bartenders to choose from, as well. Looking for a new drink idea? Text Ten to One's "lime line" at (718) 400-6987 for custom recipes and cocktail inspiration.
