Two months ago, Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) and SAGE, an industry technology provider, partnered to offer cross-member perks to promote the PPAI Expo, taking place this week at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The two organizations have decided to expand that partnership in the form of one comprehensive membership option to promotional products distributors, where new and renewing PPAI distributor members will receive credit for an annual subscription to SAGE Online, valued at $495.
The credit also can be used to purchase additional user licenses, mobile search solutions, websites, e-commerce technology, company stores, artwork services, end-user catalogs and much more. The credit will be issued each year upon payment of PPAI annual distributor membership dues.
“Our members have been asking for a robust product research service, and we listened,” says Irving, TX–based PPAI Steve Slagle, in a statement. “SAGE has the industry’s leading product research service that will provide members with direct access to full product and supplier research and much more, and we are honored to have them as our exclusive technology partner.”
SAGE research service includes more than 4,300 suppliers and 850,000 promotional products.
To promote this new alliance, PPAI also is offering all current PPAI members who are not already SAGE Online subscribers immediate access to SAGE Online until their next PPAI renewal date. These complimentary subscriptions will be automatically activated after The PPAI Expo closes on Jan. 14, 2011. Each member will receive login instructions from SAGE via email when the member’s service is active.
Additionally, PPAI members who are already SAGE Online subscribers will receive a credit prorated to their PPAI renewal date, which can also be applied to SAGE Online and other SAGE services.
