The International Association of Exhibitions and Events has launched the CEM Fellows program as part of its CEM Learning Journey. Fellows will consist of mentors, teachers and thought leaders who have reached a significant level of responsibility, have been identified as a leader, and have shown continued service through education and volunteerism.
"We want to recognize professionals who have proven their ability to influence others through their successful track record of accomplishments," said IAEE president and CEO Marsha Flanagan. "Through their years of experience, leadership and dedication, CEM Fellows shape the industry's future by nurturing and inspiring the next generation of exhibition professionals."
The program is available to those who currently hold their CEM or CEM-AP designations in good standing. Interested candidates can be nominated or can nominate themselves, must have at least 15 years of experience in the events industry, and must demonstrate leadership and a commitment to the industry.
Full details about becoming a CEM Fellow and about the CEM Learning Journey can be found on the IAEE website.
