Hilton Hotels Adds Three All-Inclusive Resorts to its Caribbean and Mexico Portfolio

In Mexico and the Dominican Republic, Hilton expands its all-inclusive offerings.

Hilton Hotels & Resorts alliance with Netherlands hotel company Playa Hotels & Resorts is not even three months old and it already is paying off big dividends for the company in the all-inclusive segment with the addition of three beach resorts to its portfolio in the Caribbean and Mexico.

"Resorts are a key component of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand, and we are committed to growing our portfolio in the places that matter most to our guests," said Vera Manoukian, senior vice president and global brand head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts in a statement announcing the new hotels. "These resorts provide our more than 82 million Hilton Honors members with more ways to earn and redeem Points than ever before and allow us to further extend Hilton's signature hospitality to guests looking for an upscale, all-inclusive vacation experience."

In Mexico, the 500-room Hilton Playa Del Carmen (pictured), an adults-only resort, features 10 restaurants and a full-service spa, as well as 7,987 square feet of meeting and event space that can accommodate up to 700 guests.

In the Dominican Republic, The 344-room Hilton La Romana adults-only resort on the island's southeast coast features eight bars, 11 restaurants, a 21,000-square foot full-service spa, fitness center, and 8,00 square feet of meeting and event space. The resort is close to four championship golf courses.

Also in the Dominican Republic, the 412-room Hilton La Romana family resort with five restaurants, offering a miriad of activities from tennis and beach volleyball to snorkeling and scuba diving. For teenagers, the resort has a teen club, offering a variety of entertainment options and nightly events.

"Upon completion, these newly remodeled and enhanced resorts will combine the strength and backing of one of the world's most recognized and trusted brands, with prime beach-front locations, and Playa's award-winning Service from the Heart, to excite and delight Hilton Honors members worldwide."

In addition to growing its resort portfolio, Hilton's partnership with Playa Hotels & Resorts also expands the company's presence in the Caribbean and Latin America, where it currently operates a robust portfolio of nearly 140 world-class hotels and resorts, including nearly 60 properties in Mexico.
