The 38-acre Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada, is scheduled to debut in late 2022. The resort, part of the luxurious Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas brand, will have 56 guest rooms, 12 villas and private residences.
A host of amenities will be offered in the property's Great House: a conservatory, a bakery, a gallery
and a beach dining room. A signature restaurant will serve Creole-inspired fare, and there will also be a private dining room and a raw bar. On-site watering holes will include the Sand Bar, where guests will partake of rum-making workshops; a swim-up bar; and the Fermentation Lab, where participants will be able to concoct their own botanical bases for cocktails.
In keeping with Six Senses' commitment to sustainability, the resort
will operate on a self-sufficient and plastic-free basis. Ingredients
for the restaurants and spa will be provided by the kitchen gardens,
herb gardens and native fruit trees, and seafood will be sourced from
local fishermen.
Among the other amenities the Six Senses Le Segesse will offer are outdoor fitness trails, meditation spaces, yoga classes and a spa. The Six Senses Earth Lab will present workshops where guests will
learn about the natural world and how to lighten their carbon footprint on the
planet.
Off-site group activities on Grenada, which can be arranged through the property or a local destination management company, include hiking and shipwreck dives. Tours of spice trails, chocolate factories and underwater art at the Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park, as well as visits to the rainforest reserve at Grand Etang National Park, or the capital, St. George, also can be organized.
