Motivation Excellence Acquires Viktor Incentives and Meetings

The expanded company will continue to create incentive travel, meetings, events, and reward and recognition programs.

Incentive firm Motivation Excellence has acquired Viktor Incentives & Meetings. Mark Bondy, president and owner of Viktor since 1996, plans to stay active with Motivation Excellence for a period of time to help transition the new entity for future success, according to a statement about the merger.

He added, “Having Mark on board during this time is especially appreciated, as I know he’ll offer his incredible experience in a collaborative way. The cohesive blending of our incredible cultures will need special attention. His involvement will help us make a successful transition. We have nowhere to go but up as a team.”

The new firm has a combined staff of 50 employees and 85 years of experience delivering incentive travel, meetings, events, and points-based reward and recognition programs. 

In addition to Viktor’s Traverse City, Mich., location, Motivation Excellence has offices in Wisconsin, Missouri, New Jersey, South Carolina and Florida. The company has been honored as a Best and Brightest Company to Work For three years in a row; in 2021, Northstar Meetings Group lauded Motivation Excellence as one of 10 companies that supported their employees, communities and the meetings industry during the pandemic.
