The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on the Island of Hawaii will reopen next month after undergoing a sweeping enhancement project. The property, which has seven meeting rooms, currently is closed.
All 243 rooms and suites have been updated with new finishes
and furnishings; the resort’s three largest villas have been expanded to add a
second story and unique design elements. A new six-bedroom bungalow, including a suite with a private pool, is being constructed adjacent to
Kumukea Beach on the property’s northern edge.
King's Pond, the property’s swimmable aquarium, is getting a new elevated swimming pool, lounge deck and a marine activity center.
A culinary academy is now part of the ULU Ocean Grill + Sushi
Lounge; the facility will host interactive cooking experiences and demonstrations
by guest chefs.
A 3,000-square-foot golf-instruction and practice facility is being added. The
facility also will offer space for group events alongside the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, which has been upgraded with reshaped greens and bunkers.
"We are extraordinarily proud of the experience we provide our guests
at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, and are thrilled to enhance their visit
through this comprehensive renovation," said Sebastian Hinsch, the property's resort
manager. "As we look to the future of
Hualalai, we are excited to introduce these new amenities and features while
continuing to provide the personalized service and genuine aloha spirit for
which we are so well known."
