Robert Holzweiss

Robert Holzweiss

Deputy Director, George H.W. Bush Library

Robert Holzweiss completed his PhD in American history with a specialization in business and economic history and 20th-century America at Texas A&M University in 2001. He started his career in the archives at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in 1996, and was promoted to deputy director in 2014. In addition to his role at the library, Dr. Holzweiss also is a visiting adjunct professor in Texas A&M's department of history, the president of the Locomotive and Railways Historical Society, and a founding member of the Penn Central Railroad Historical Society.

Robert Holzweiss was a speaker at Northstar Meetings Group's Destination Southwest in December 2025.
