Northstar Meetings Group will bring 2025's second iteration of the Luxury & Wellness Meetings hosted-buyer event to the new Opal Sol in Clearwater, Fla., on July 28-30.
"We're excited to welcome Northstar to our newest resort on Clearwater Beach, Opal Sol, and her 'sol mate,' Opal Sands Resort," said Nancy Cimney, regional director of sales and marketing for the Opal Collection. "Both properties offer seaside elegance and luxury, and all of our Gulf View suites and rooms feature stunning panoramic views of the gulf, and the Opal spa provides a truly transformative experience."
Northstar's Luxury & Wellness events incorporate health-focused activations and education specifically designed for planners who source programs at luxury venues and prioritize the wellbeing of their participants. The summer gathering will feature two speakers: Kara Hardin — founder and CEO of The Practice Lab — will focus on balancing high performance with mental health, while Mary Delia Allen — a hospitality and customer service expert with The Welcoming Edge — will discuss how hospitality professionals and event planners can elevate their customer service by embracing intentional, human-centered interactions.
"We are excited to partner with the Opal Collection and their newest gem, Opal Sol, for our second Luxury & Wellness program this year," said Shalise DeMott, vice president of sales for Northstar Meetings Group. "With the growing demand for wellness in programs and the expanding array of luxury experiences worldwide, this collaboration is a win for both buyer and supplier attendees."
On Clearwater's Beach Walk promenade, both the 248-room Opal Sol and the neighboring 230-room Opal Sands mix calming ocean-inspired decor with modern luxury. The properties are linked by a glass-encased skybridge, giving guests access to the amenities of both resorts. Collectively, there are 10 dining outlets, four pools and two full-service, luxury Opal spas — not to mention access to the white-sand beach. Together for groups, they feature more than 106,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, which includes a 5,400-square-foot event lawn, an 8,800-square-foot ballroom and several breakout rooms.
Suppliers will participate in all education, networking and curated one-on-one business meetings. For pricing and sponsorship opportunities, please contact your business development director or Shalise DeMott.
