Louisville Tourism and Hotel Distil to Host Small & Boutique Meetings

The summer edition of Small & Boutique Meetings — Northstar's premiere hosted-buyer event designed for small and boutique-sized meetings — will be held in Louisville, Ky., on June 9-11.

Northstar Meetings Group has announced that Small & Boutique Meetings - Summer, one of three hosted-buyer events for small and boutique-sized meetings (100 room nights on peak and below), will be held June 9-11 in Louisville, Ky., at Hotel Distil, an Autograph Collection property from Marriott and Ice House. This event is designed to connect top suppliers and destinations with planners looking for creative solutions to elevate their small and boutique-sized meetings in the United States and around the world.

"As we strive to increase our destination's brand awareness, I cannot think of a more fitting company to partner with than Northstar Meetings Group, with their strong commitment to the travel and tourism industry," said Doug Bennett, Louisville Tourism's executive vice president. "We look forward to showcasing Louisville's unique brand of Southern hospitality by introducing attendees to our vibrant bourbon industry, iconic attractions and rich culinary scene — all while getting a sample of Bourbon City's authentic hotel experiences."

Opened in 2019, Hotel Distil offers 205 rooms on the city's famed Whiskey Row, and is within walking distance to seven of the Urban Bourbon Trail's distilleries.

"We want Northstar's attendees to experience the refinement of a bourbon-aged culture," said Matthew Clark, market associate director of sales for the host-hotel, the Moxy Louisville, the Aloft Louisville Downtown and the Homewood Suites by Hilton Louisville Downtown.

"Northstar is excited to host our summer Small & Boutique Meetings event in Louisville, a destination celebrated for its vibrant, inclusive culture and culinary excellence," said Alison Best, Northstar's director of business development. "Attendees will experience Louisville's authentic neighborhoods, properties and venues, perfect for smaller meetings. The team at Louisville Tourism sets the bar very high and is ready to welcome our attendees as only Bourbon City can."

Suppliers will participate in all education, networking and curated one-on-one business meetings. For pricing and sponsorship opportunities, contact your business development director or Shalise DeMott.
