Set on 429 acres of Cape Cod coastline, the Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club comprises a historic AAA Four Diamond mansion — a collection of comfortable, multi-bedroom villas — and a boutique collection of 20 adult-only guest rooms, ideal for a group buyout. A historic 2,200-acre spa and golf resort tucked into the Allegheny Mountains of Bedford, Pa., the AAA Four Diamond Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa features 216 guest rooms, multiple dining options and the legendary 18-hole championship Old Course. In Plymouth, Mich., Saint John’s Resort is justly proud of its public championship golf course, The Cardinal. A par-72 layout shaped by rolling terrain, mature trees and strategic bunkering, the course already has been appearing on “10 best" lists after just two years of operation. The resort also has The Little Cardinal, a 7-hole short course for beginners, families and incentive groups. Across the historic 200-acre estate of a former seminary, Saint John’s pairs its golf offerings with 124 guest rooms, three restaurants and more than 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.

Bronze: Lincolnshire Marriott Resort

On Chicago’s North Shore, The Lincolnshire Marriott Resort is a scenic 175-acre property with 390 modern guest rooms, the live Marriott Theatre, multiple dining venues and full spa amenities.
