Staying true to the values and client-first mindset that have fueled 27 years of success, Destination Concepts inc. is one of the few independently owned (by women) and owner-led DMCs, accountable only to clients and employees. The company’s 100+ team members are empowered to innovate, grow and deliver exceptional experiences, from concept to completion.
Some highlights from the company’s efforts in the Southeast include building on FIFA fever to produce a private event at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., for 290 attendees, where guests had access to the field for soccer-skill challenges. In Boca Raton, Fla., DCi transformed a hotel’s two ballrooms and a foyer into immersive multimedia-driven spaces reimagining a journey to Atlantis with a Steampunk twist. In Orlando, starting with AI-generated renderings, the company created custom structures and branded décor to augment an existing pool and create a custom “beach club” using client branding.

Collaboration is the foundation of the approach Access takes, uniting innovative thinking, cutting-edge technology, local expertise and diverse perspectives to deliver exceptional results. This commitment was reflected in one recent Southeast program when Access worked with the experiential Artlando company to transform a ballroom at the Orlando World Center Marriott into an avant garde art installation, featuring interactive graffiti, live glassblowing, sculptural design and immersive lighting and sound. In Nashville, a three-day incentive program culminated in a private Zac Brown Band concert at a venue reimagined as a whimsical backyard soirée, complete with towering trees, cozy lounges and a starry-night chandelier, creating a uniquely intimate and striking experience.

From leveraging cutting-edge technology to prioritizing eco-friendly practices, PRA’s teams in the Southeast have for years been dedicated to delivering personalized, impactful programs that bond generational attendees by spotlighting the value of connected emotions and experiences. Along with designing and executing events that have redefined the guest experience, the PRA team is committed to leading the charge toward a sustainable future within the DMC industry. Recognizing the environmental impact of events, the company has implemented comprehensive sustainability initiatives designed to reduce waste, promote responsible practices and foster long-term change.

With a distinctive footprint in the Southwest, Access creates bold programs, community-rooted partnerships and immersive experiences that leave a lasting impact. The company blends the strength of a national brand with the insight of deeply embedded local teams, delivering experiences that help clients drive results. Powering these moments is a collaborative process built on more than 55 years of local expertise and the strength of Access’ national team.
Over the past year, the DMC produced some of the region’s most high-profile and complex programs. In San Antonio, Access managed a $1.5 million citywide event with a full buyout of the Riverwalk South Bank for 5,000 guests. In Denver, they orchestrated LoHi’s first-ever street closure for a dynamic block-party experience. In Buckeye, Ariz., Access celebrated a manufacturing facility’s grand opening with a nostalgic fall carnival for employees and families. Additional standout programs included an Olympic-themed activation in Salt Lake City, a three-night “Elements of Arizona” experience in Phoenix and a $1.1 million end-of-year celebration for an energy-sector client in Dallas.

The award-winning Destination Concepts inc. created a series of highlights in the Southwest over the past year. In Phoenix, with only nine weeks to design and produce a high-level incentive, the DMC created two on-site events incorporating eye-catching custom installations, lush florals, thoughtfully chosen furnishings and thematic entertainment. The final night was themed to Broadway, where a rotating stage featured vignettes from Wicked, The Lion King, and Hamilton – all with the Broadway cast. In Scottsdale, Ariz., hotel staff and attendees alike were wowed with the first-ever dual-tethered balloon ride and Ferris wheel for an unforgettable final-night event.

In the world of event management, it’s essential to continually evolve and adapt to the ever-changing landscape. For 40 years, PRA has been at the forefront of this evolution, blending innovation with tradition to create singular experiences. From incorporating cutting-edge technology to prioritizing eco-friendly practices, PRA’s teams in the Southwest are dedicated to pushing boundaries and delivering personalized, impactful programs for clients that bring together generational attendees using the value of connected emotions and experiences.
