Owned by its home city, the Baltimore Convention Center makes a deliberate effort to ensure that every guest, regardless of ability, background or identity, feels they belong there. A premier venue for conventions, meetings, trade shows, banquets and special events, the BCC has 300,000 square feet of contiguous exhibition space, 85,000 square feet of flexible meeting space across 50 rooms and a 36,672-square-foot multifunctional ballroom. Hosting over 125 events annually and welcoming approximately 500,000 attendees, the venue is a key driver of economic impact in the region.

In Ocean City, Md., the Ronald E. Powell Convention Center (aka Ocean City Convention Center) is a leading coastal destination for meetings and events, offering over 214,000 square feet of total floor space, including 45,400 square feet of flexible exhibit space across two main halls, plus a 19,126-square-foot ballroom and 25 additional meeting rooms. In 2024 the center launched a Meeting Planner Advisory Board to collaborate on venue enhancements, service strategies, marketing and creative programming. Ocean City itself is a compact destination with 4,000+ hotel rooms within walking distance of the facility.

In the downtown heart of New York State’s capital city, the Albany Capital Center is a beautiful glass structure with 22,500 square feet of ballroom/exhibit space, six meeting rooms with 9,200 square feet of space and 13,500 square feet of pre-unction space, all of which can accommodate up to 5,000 people. The center is directly connected to the Empire State Plaza Convention Center, the Egg Performing Arts Center and the MVP Arena via an enclosed walkway, which together create the largest meeting space in Upstate New York at more than 159,000 square feet.
SOUTHEAST

Always refining and improving its offerings, the Tampa Convention Center is a major force in meetings and conventions on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Now celebrating its 35th anniversary, the center is located on the Tampa Riverwalk in the heart of downtown and comprises 600,000 square feet with four floors and a guest capacity of 17,000. The facility has earned a certification in LEED Silver for Building Operations and Maintenance thanks to an ongoing investment in upgrades to its heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting systems to reduce energy consumption.
The TCC highlights its natural setting and in 2023 unveiled 18 new waterfront meeting rooms offering floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views of Tampa Bay, along with upgrades to covered outdoor event space along the Riverwalk. Just 16 minutes from Tampa International Airport, the center is surrounded by more than 100 local attractions.

Following a $640 million renovation completed in 2020, the Miami Beach Convention Center now offers over 500,000 square feet of exhibition space, a 60,000-square-foot grand ballroom, 84 breakout rooms and modern event environments. In May 2025, the LEED Silver-certified facility celebrated the groundbreaking of the long-anticipated Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center, a connected 800-room hotel set to open in 2027. This $392 million project will directly link to the convention center via skybridge and significantly enhance the MBCC’s ability to host large-scale global events.

With the recent $200 million modernization of the Renasant Convention Center in Memphis, Tenn., planners and groups will discover a meeting and event facility well suited for the city that surrounds it — the legendary home of blues, soul and rock ‘n’ roll, all on the storied Mississippi River. The statistics are impressive: 300,000 square feet of flexible meeting, exhibit and pre-function space; a 118,000-square-foot, column-free exhibit hall; a 28,000-square-foot ballroom; 46 flexible meeting rooms totaling over 90,000 square feet, and 600 guest rooms at the connected Sheraton Memphis Downtown.
In the heart of Eastern North Carolina, the Rocky Mount Event Center is a 165,000-square-foot facility with over 75,000 square feet of flexible event space and two banquet rooms. The center features a variety of environments for gatherings, from high-tech conference rooms to a spacious field house. Recognized for its in-house catering, the venue also scores raves for a team that works in harmony to deliver seamless service, intuitive support and a spirit of Southern hospitality.
MIDWEST

Set along the scenic banks of the Mississippi River in Dubuque, Iowa, the Grand River Convention Center is a state-of-the-art facility ideal for meetings, conferences, conventions, trade shows and banquets. Here are more than 86,000 square feet of versatile event space spread among three levels: Level 1 is home to the Exhibit Hall, Level 2 has six meeting-room blocks and access to the center’s Skywalk, and Level 3 features the River Room, an all-glass enclosure with a balcony jutting over the Riverwalk, a spacious trail that runs just under a mile along the river, connecting some of Dubuque's major tourist attractions and destinations.
At the core of the center’s operations is a commitment to sustainability, as exemplified by in-house growing of microgreens as part of the culinary offerings, using locally sourced foods and operating a compositng program that captures food waste from events and diverts it from landfills. The facility also participates in city-run charitable events to help feed and house needy citizens.

Celebrated for innovation, service and meaningful impact, the Overland Park Convention Center in Kansas strives to consistently deliver exceptional experiences. In the revitalized downtown of Owensboro, Ky., the Owensboro Convention Center is a multi-purpose facility spanning just under 102,000 square feet, including a more than 44,000-square-foot exhibition hall, the 8,900-square-foot Kentucky Legend Pier outside over the Ohio River, and additional ballroom, meeting and pre-function space. Complete in-house services include food and beverage, audiovisual, an extensive internet-access electrical grid and more. The facility is deeply rooted in its community, committed to sustainability and in active support of local nonprofits by offering discounted space. Sustainable practices include waste diversion, energy-efficient lighting and sourcing local food for catering menus.

With 577,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, 63 meeting rooms, three hotel-quality ballrooms and the 5,000-seat Bellco Theatre, the Colorado Convention Center in Denver is a top draw for meetings, conventions and events of all sizes. The facility opened in 1990, with more than 100 professional meeting planners working together with architects to design every aspect of the building. First expanded in 2005, in 2024 the center unveiled a new rooftop expansion that by itself includes 80,000 square feet of column-free ballroom space — the largest in Colorado — 35,000 square feet of pre-function space and a 20,000-square-foot outdoor terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of Denver and the Rocky Mountains.
In the heart of one of America’s most walkable downtowns, the CCC is surrounded by more than 13,000 hotel rooms, 300 restaurants, nine theaters in the Denver Performing Arts Complex and a wide variety of shopping and retail outlets. The location, in addition to 48 covered loading docks and 600+ parking spaces, helps ensure seamless logistics for planners and a memorable experience for guests.

As a hub for Salt Lake County community gatherings, the Mountain America Exposition Center in Utah sets a high standard for excellence, innovation and sustainability. From autonomous retail innovation to vibrant public art and cutting-edge technology, the venue helps redefine what modern events can accomplish. Here planners are offered 243,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit hall space divisible into five halls, and 15,000 square feet of meeting space that can be separated into nine rooms. The facility currently is undergoing a complete network upgrade to enhance high-speed connectivity.

As El Paso’s largest indoor meeting venue, the El Paso Convention Center offers a total of 133,100 square feet of dynamic event space, including 17 well-equipped breakout rooms and three expansive exhibit halls. Its thoughtful layout and flexible configuration options make it ideal for hosting everything from large-scale conferences to intimate business meetings. The venue has experienced dozens of high-profile gatherings, including the Texas Democratic Convention, M&I Americas, the Texas Travel Alliance and more. A 15-minute car ride from El Paso International Airport, the center is within walking distance of 1,500 hotel rooms, keeping attendees comfortably close to the action.
FAR WEST

In the heart of Southern California, the Ontario Convention Center combines modern facilities, exceptional service and a vision for the future to create a superior facility for planners and attendees. The center features 225,000 square feet of column-free exhibit space and 24 flexible breakout rooms, able to host everything from large conventions to intimate workshops. Its contemporary design and adaptable layouts provide the perfect environment for trade shows, galas, and conferences.
An ongoing expansion, slated for completion in winter 2027, will nearly double the center’s size to 470,000 square feet while also establishing a dynamic Convention Center District with pedestrian-friendly access to dining, entertainment and new amenities. Proximity to Ontario International Airport, just 1.5 miles away, ensures easy access for out-of-town attendees, while over 6,700 hotel rooms in the area provide accommodations for every budget.

Offering a world-class meeting experience in the compact, walkable core of Seattle, the Seattle Convention Center consists of two buildings: Opened in January 2023, the Summit building is the newest, adding 573,770 square feet of event space including 248,450 square feet of exhibit space and the 14,000-square-foot outdoor Garden Terrace. The adjacent Arch buildings are directly across the street from each other: At 705 Pike St., the center’s original building, features include 205,700 square feet of exhibit space, 61 meeting rooms, four ballrooms and a number of cozy seating areas for intimate conversation. The 800 Pike St. location has 35,000 square feet of carpeted meeting space divisible into 17 rooms. Events can be spread over the two buildings.

With more than 400,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, the Long Beach (Calif.) Convention & Entertainment Center is ideal for all types of special events, conventions and trade shows. Planners will find 34 meeting rooms, a grand ballroom, three exhibition hals, the Long Beach Arena and new wiring for the latest technology as well as wireless capability. Within easy walking distance of the facility are Shoreline Village for shopping and dining, the Pike Outlets for shopping and entertainment, the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary (a historic ship and museum), Pine Avenue for nightlife and restaurants, and the East Village Arts District for galleries and boutiques.
Offering a boutique convention experience in the heart of Bellevue, Wash., Meydenbauer Center has 54,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, high-end finishes and a team known for its hospitality. Over the past year the center hosted a record 23 conventions; completed over $6 million in energy-efficiency improvements, which saves a carbon output equivalent to 120,491 gallons of gas per year; and invested in equipment that allows the center to more effectively donate leftover food, resulting in 855 pounds of nutritious fare being donated in the last two months of 2024, providing over 1,700 meals to community members facing food insecurity.
INTERNATIONAL AND U.S. TERRITORIES

Everything about the Venetian Macao is impressive. This lavish hotel/convention center makes quite a splash with 3,000 all-suite guest rooms, each luxurious and spanning 750 square feet or more while offering split-level living areas and Italian marble bathrooms. There’s also 1,614,000 square feet of total event space (with the largest space able to accommodate up to 14,000 people) and 334 breakout rooms, along with glittering live entertainment venues and high-level dining and shopping options.
Located at the heart of the Cotai Strip, the hotel includes a dedicated convention center spanning 1.2 million square feet, with more than 199,000 square feet of meeting space and an additional 807,290 square feet of exhibit space, all able to handle anything from small board meetings to large conventions and trade shows. Not surprisingly, the Venetian Macao is said to be the largest integrated resort meeting and convention complex in Asia.

Operated by Grand Hyatt, the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center in Nassau, the Bahamas, is one of the largest event venues in the Caribbean with 200,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor spaces. Conventions, conferences, corporate retreats and more have 200,000 square feet of event spaces to choose from, including 82,000-square-feet of meeting space and a 29,000-square-foot ballroom. The affiliated Grand Hyatt Hotel at Baha Mar offers 1,800 guest rooms, all with views of the ocean, the resort’s fountains or the surrounding island.
