What started as the world’s first aerial crop-dusting operation in 1925 began passenger operations in 1929, and today Delta Air Lines is one of the oldest and most trusted carriers in all of aviation. Delta and its worldwide alliance partners operate more than 15,000 flights per day, and in the wake of the worst time of the pandemic, the carrier has more than met the pent-up desire to resume business travel, face-to-face events, conventions and incentives with imaginative initiatives such as the Delta Edge Meetings program.
Under this program, after registering a meeting, a planner gains access to a simple booking process, and valuable benefits like reporting and financial incentives, and attendees can book their meetings travel via the same channels they use for their transient travel. In addition, Delta Business benefits are now connected to meeting travel and include priority boarding, access to preferred seats and the ability to use points for meetings bookings.
