We can offer a top-notch product at affordable pricing because we are an independent hotel with just one owner. We are still offering free parking, free WiFi in guest rooms and meeting space and complimentary airport shuttles.
For our meeting, convention and trade show clients, South Point's staffing levels are pre-pandemic; 95 percent of our employees have returned! Our 12 restaurants have been opened since 2020 – including our buffet. The South Point does not have mandatory preferred suppliers; A/V is from the South Point A/V Department. We offer affordable banquet pricing — coffee is just $65.00 a gallon; a deal for Las Vegas.
Updated Guest Rooms, Meeting Rooms & Spa
The $40 million room renovation was completed at the end of 2020 on 2,049 rooms and 84 suites. The rooms feature new furniture, luxury flooring, mini refrigerator and bathroom upgrades. Hallways and outside doors were also upgraded. We are currently painting and wall papering the casino, convention center, movie theatre and bingo. Some other improvements include a lobby upgrade with new furniture, new carpeting/furniture in the Conference Center, moving walkway to the Exhibit Hall from the Conference Center and our Spa received more than $500,000 in upgrades.
Well-Equipped Conference Center
The South Point’s 75,000-square-foot Conference Center is equipped to handle everything from a 20-person board meeting to a 2,500-person general session. The Grand Ballroom has 21,600 square feet of column-free, divisible space as well as a permanent stage. For breakouts, 24 meeting rooms come in various sizes, offering flexibility for any size meeting needed. A permanent registration desk has two offices, making the registration process seamless and simple. For trade shows and exhibitions, South Point’s 80,000-square-foot exhibit hall is column free, carpeted and capable of breaking down into four separate exhibit halls. The exhibit hall comes with its own registration desk, along with four breakout meeting rooms. The six Bay Rooms are conveniently located near the guest elevators and accommodate our small groups in a quiet atmosphere.
