New, Unique Experience
The Halona Kai Beer Garden is the resort’s newest pop-up experience that is offered on select dates throughout the year. The Beer Garden can also be booked upon request and tailored to each client, holiday or occasion. Elevated above the pool area on a 9,560-square-foot lawn, Halona Kai Beer Garden offers exactly what its name means in Hawaiian: a place from which to peer or lookout at the sea. Panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and stunning red and orange sunsets creates an experience like nowhere else in the world. Guests can relax and mingle, play lawn games, and make memories that will make them want to come back long after they have returned home. Halona Kai Beer Garden features both best-selling staples and seasonal Maui Brewing Co. beers and seltzers that are brewed 100% locally in Hawai‘i.
The half-acre free-form pool has something to offer everyone, whether relaxing in a private cabana or venturing between the waterfalls for a cocktail at the Grotto Bar. Also slide down the thrilling 150-foot lava tube water slide and walk across Ka‘anapali’s only swinging rope bridge.
The lush resort grounds are home to exotic wildlife, including penguins, flamingos and cranes. Weekly wildlife tours and penguin presentations are a highlight amongst kids and adults alike. Hyatt Regency Maui also features Maui’s only oceanfront, full-service spa and salon, Kamaha’o, a Marilyn Monroe Spa for ultimate rejuvenation.
