During summer 2018, the Washington State Convention Center broke ground the new Summit building;
The new facility will add 248,450 square feet of exhibit space, 102,040 square feet of breakout rooms and a 58,000-square-foot ballroom;
Seattle’s hotel inventory is growing by 20 percent in the next year; and
Eight new properties will bring the downtown room count to 14,343.
