High demand and higher costs have shifted site-selection priorities for meeting and event planners, this new First Look Research by Northstar Meetings Group reveals. “Site-Selection Priorities: 2024 and Beyond,” sponsored by Visit Orlando, sheds light on how changing market conditions have not only influenced booking factors but have shifted the relative appeal of the destinations themselves. In just two years, more than two-thirds of planners report that their opinions of some destinations have changed.

The exclusive findings are based on responses from 408 qualified meeting and event planners across all segments of the industry, from a survey conducted between Feb. 7 and March 7, 2024.
