Voting in the Northstar Meetings Group Stella Awards commenced on April 10 — and nearly 4,000 meeting industry professionals have cast their votes in the first week alone. With more than 900 nominations in 16 categories and six regions worldwide, this year is shaping up to be the most competitive Stella Awards to date. Due to such a positive outpouring of support for the industry’s best-in-class organizations, Northstar Meetings Group has extended the voting period to close on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
Stella Award nominees comprise the industry’s top hotels, convention centers, conference centers, airlines, cruise lines, DMO/CVBs and DMCs that are dedicated to group business and services. The Stella Awards celebrate overall excellence, superb food and beverage, professionalism of staff, sustainability initiatives, and other critical aspects of the meetings and event experience. The Stella Awards (#StellaAwards2023) are open for public voting until May 24, 2023. Finalists will be determined by total votes during this period. Winners will be selected by a panel of meetings industry experts, overseen by the editors of Northstar Meetings Group’s leading brands, Meetings & Conventions, Successful Meetings, Meeting News and Incentive.
Winners will be announced on Oct. 10, 2023, and will be featured in the Meeting News daily newsletter, online at NorthstarMeetingsGroup.com and in the November 2023 issue of Meetings & Conventions.
