Teneo Hospitality Group, a Minnesota-based global group sales organization, has expanded its portfolio of luxury brands and boutique properties to include 50 new hotels and resorts across 20 international destinations.
Teneo has added to or expanded the company’s reach in Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Scandinavia, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
New or expanded brands in the portfolio include Accor, Raddison Blu and, among others, the Dedica Anthology, a new Italian brand with six hotels: the 185-room New York Palace in Budapest, Hungary; 153-room Hotel Plaza in Nice, France; 152-room Carlo IV in Prague; 238-room Palazzo Naiadi in Rome; 86-room Palazzo Gaddi in Florence, Italy, and 64-room Grand Hotel dei Dogi in Venice, Italy.
While most of Teneo's portfolio remains U.S.-based, the organization says the international expansion will offer planners access to more global options, as well as stateside resources for some of Europe’s top hotel brands.
“The scope and individuality of the new European portfolio will enable Teneo to provide meeting professionals with a truly singular experience and exceptional resources,” said Teneo president Mike Schugt. “The hotels fuse together the heritage of the old with a new and dynamic contemporary vibe. Ambitious renovation programs are restoring historic hotels, while new and striking hotels emerge. We are truly proud to bring the riches of Europe, old and new, to America’s meeting planners.”
With this expansion, Teneo has multiplied its European presence by four, in terms of destinations and properties.
