Innovating the Future of Meetings

VEA Newport Beach, A Marriott Resort & Spa

The meetings industry never stops evolving — and Marriott Bonvoy Events is ready to help planners manage even the most complex aspects, including technology, sustainability and the preferences of attendees and stakeholders.

“At Marriott, we remain committed to helping meeting and event professionals create experiences that are impactful,” says Kathy Mouw, vice president, global sales, U.S. and Canada at Marriott International. “With our more than 30 brands, we have the unique ability to tailor our offerings to their specific needs, from incentive programs to sustainability offerings.”

Indeed, Marriott International’s strong global presence and extensive MICE services and facilities position it as an especially strong partner for planners — as evidenced by the Marriott Bonvoy Events website, a valuable resource that gives planners an edge with a robust hotel search tool, special group offers, regionally specific meetings and event content and helpful insight about global best practices. The site even includes a Marriott Bonvoy Points calculator, which planners can use to estimate the number of points that can be earned by hosting meetings at participating hotels and resorts.

Marriott International stands at the forefront of event industry thought leadership, exemplified by its Designing for Engagement Toolkit — a comprehensive guide created by Marriott International and Storycraft Lab to empower planners with cutting-edge solutions, advanced technology and unique event concepts. Rooted in experience design principles, this comprehensive guide helps organizers transform their events into immersive, meaningful experiences that maximize attendee ROI and redefine engagement.

The downloadable Toolkit — which is packed with insights from a year of global activations and workshops — offers practical applications and industry best practices, enabling planners to create truly engaging events that make attendees feel valued, accepted and connected.

Drawing on the toolkit’s insights for crafting impactful events, Marriott Bonvoy understands that meaningful connections can thrive in more intimate settings, aligning with the idea that “big things come in small packages” in the meetings industry. Recognizing the value of small group events, Marriott Bonvoy prioritizes spaces and services tailored just for them.

Planners can easily search on Marriott.com to find venues and features for small groups of 10 to 50, with an array of options that range from modern boardrooms to picturesque rooftop terraces and private dining rooms. To make it even easier, planners can reserve venues and room blocks in an instant on Marriott.com, or opt to submit an RFP with a full event profile. And, as always, Marriott Bonvoy members have the opportunity to earn points on eligible meeting expenses at participating properties.

Exciting Offers for Planners

Marriott has two new group offers, each of which provides enticing new ways to enhance the planning experience. With one offer, planners are rewarded with double Marriott Bonvoy points for qualified events or group stays that are contracted by Dec. 31, 2025, and hosted by Dec. 31, 2026. To get started, simply submit an RFP to participating properties in the U.S. and Canada, mention promo code DB25, and talk to the hotel sales manager prior to booking to receive the offer.  After the event, planners can redeem their points for free nights, unforgettable experiences through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments (moments.marriottbonvoy.com) platform, or other travel rewards.

The second offer helps meeting planners and stakeholders take an impactful step toward sustainability by providing a complimentary carbon offset for qualifying meetings, events and room blocks. Submit an RFP to get started to any of the participating hotels listed. Planners must mention promo code CR25 and talk to the hotel sales manager prior to booking to receive the offer. The event must be contracted by Dec. 31, 2025, and hosted by Dec. 31, 2026 to qualify.

Additional features include multiple restaurants and bars, a spa, an outdoor swimming pool and The Loft, a recording facility with a 44-channel spatial sound system.

Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa

Opened in 2024 following a $25 million renovation, Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa combines the allure of an Official Walt Disney World Hotel with the practicality of extensive onsite meeting and event facilities.

Located in the Disney Springs Resort Area, this property has more than 25,000 square feet of event space, with 13 event rooms and a recently added, 5,000-square-foot terrace.

Onsite amenities include multiple restaurants, a spa, outdoor pool and a children’s activity area that makes the hotel ideal for bleisure travelers.
