Accor, the global hospitality giant with more than 5,500 hotels across more than 110 countries, announced a strategic partnership with UNICEO, the United Networks of International Corporate Event Organizers. The nonprofit association based in Geneva is dedicated to bringing together senior decision-makers for corporate events. It has 2,500 members in more than 35 countries.

Per the partnership, Accor will provide support for UNICEO activities and its global membership. In return, the hospitality group will benefit from closer access to senior decision-makers for the events of major international companies and associations, strengthening Accor's positioning in the corporate meetings market.

"Working with UNICEO’s community of event planners will provide important insights to help us design initiatives that improve the hotel experience of corporate event planners," said Meenaz Diamond, Accor's senior vice president of global meetings and events, airline sales and trade marketing.

Meanwhile, UNICEO's executive director Laurent Fuchs said the collaboration will provide the association with valuable support and supply its members with "a global expertise of hundreds of venues for their events, therefore positively contributing to their events excellence and to UNICEO development and leadership."
