These properties, recently opened or scheduled to debut later this year, have been chosen with meetings in mind. While few new-builds with extensive event space are in the pipeline, according to lodging-data provider CoStar, there are some notable hotels coming online. Check back frequently, as this list will grow throughout 2024.

Caesars Entertainment has opened its first nongaming hotel, the 265-room Caesars Republic Scottsdale. The property features nearly 20,000 square feet of event space, including a 7,000-square-foot conference center. Though there won't be a casino, there will be a pool deck and a lounge overlooking Camelback Mountain, as well as a signature restaurant created by celebrity chef Giada de Laurentiis.
El Caminante Bar and Bungalows
Opened: June
The Mediterranean-inspired hotel in Southern California's Capistrano Beach began welcoming guests in June. Featuring 30 bungalows, the property will offer oceanfront firepits, artisanal pizza served from a vintage Airstream and six gathering spaces that can accommodate up to 150 people.
Marriott Long Beach Downtown
Opened: July
The Marriott Long Beach Downtown has debuted in the city's convention district. The 376-room property provides 30 conference and breakout rooms, totaling more than 24,000 square feet. Other amenities include a rooftop pool deck overlooking the city and the ocean, a fitness center, and an M Club for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite members.

The 143-room Regent Santa Monica Beach will be the brand's first flagship property in the Americas. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the resort's amenities will include a beachfront pool deck, beach butler service, and a spa and wellness center, and nearly 15,500 square feet of function space. In partnership with James Beard Award–winning chef Michael Mina, signature restaurant Orla will serve Mediterranean cuisine.

The Sandbourne Santa Monica began welcoming guests to Southern California this spring, with 175 rooms, beach access, an indoor and outdoor fitness center, and 10,000 square feet of event space. A full-service spa is scheduled to open in 2025.

The Thompson Palm Springs is scheduled to debut at the heart of Palm Canyon Drive in early fall, and reservations are now open for Sept. 30 and beyond. The property will offer 8,000 square feet of meeting space, and 168 rooms with private balconies and views of the San Jacinto Mountains. On the ground floor there will be more than 35,000 square feet of retail outlets. Among the amenities will be a signature restaurant serving Middle Eastern cuisine, two outdoor pool venues and the Hall Napa Valley Tasting Room.
Hotel Polaris
Opening: Late 2024
A 375-room property is coming to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Hotel Polaris plans to have 26,000 square feet of event space, a pool deck with mountain views, and a rooftop bar. A number of team-building experiences will be available for groups, such as in-hotel flight simulators, and a celestial navigation program to learn about constellations and navigation techniques.

The brand's second property in Denver, the Kimpton Claret Hotel features 190 rooms and 10,000 square feet of event space. Food-and-beverage options include a ground-floor signature restaurant and a 19th-floor rooftop bar with 180-degree views of the Rocky Mountains.
Populus
Opening: October
The country's first carbon-positive hotel, Populus in Denver is now accepting reservations for Oct. 15 and beyond. Committed to offsetting its carbon footprint, the property already has planted more than 70,000 trees in Gunnison County in partnership with One Tree Planted, and will add to that total with each guest's stay. Populous features 265 rooms, 3,135 square feet of meeting space, and a rooftop restaurant and bar.
Aloft Lake Nona
Opened: January
Aloft Lake Nona opened in Orlando at the beginning of the year with 205 rooms and more than 17,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 10,000-square-foot events center. The closest hotel to the United States Tennis Association National Campus, the largest tennis facility in the world, the property features a sports-themed restaurant, as well as a bar and lounge with live music.
Andaz Miami Beach
Opening: Late 2024
Formerly the Confidante Miami Beach, the Andaz Miami Beach will include a redesigned lobby, revamped food-and-beverage offerings, and an upgraded pool area. The 287 rooms and 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space also will be updated. The property closed on March 25 to begin renovations.

The 433-room resort on the Evermore Orlando development (see below) features 65,000 square feet of meeting space, a pool with cabanas and an 8-acre man-made lagoon. There are five on-site food-and-beverage outlets, such as Ceiba, the signature rooftop restaurant with views of the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks. Guests of the Conrad have access to all of Evermore's amenities.
Drury Plaza Hotel Tallahassee

The Drury Plaza Hotel debuted in Florida's capital, marking the brand's fifth location in the state. The property offers 180 rooms and 2,800 square feet of event space, accommodating groups of up to 280 people.

The 1,100-acre resort began welcoming guests on New Year's Day. Previously the Grand Cypress Golf Resort, Evermore offers 41 villas, 206 apartment-style accommodations and 69 homes with private pools. Amenities include two Jack Nicklaus–designed golf courses and a 20-acre, tropical-beach complex.
Gale Miami Hotel & Residences

The Gale Miami opened downtown on May 1. The 350-room property features 140,000 square feet of event venues, including the 20,000-square-foot Gale Miami Conference Center. Food-and-beverage options consist of a ground-floor Italian eatery with an outdoor garden, an American steakhouse and lounge, and a Mediterranean restaurant with a retractable roof and outdoor terrace.

Down the street from the Bradenton Area Convention Center, which just completed a $48 million expansion, the 252-room Palmetto Marriott Resort and Spa was unveiled this summer. Plans for the property include nearly 9,000 square feet of meeting space, a rooftop restaurant and a beach club.

Spanning 32 acres on Fort Lauderdale's stretch of the Intracoastal Waterway, Pier 66 Resort will have 325 rooms, 40,000 square feet of event space and one of the largest superyacht marinas on the eastern seaboard. Among the property's 12 dining options is the Pier Top Bar, a rotating observation deck with views of the Atlantic Ocean.

On the World Equestrian Center campus in Ocala, the Riding Academy Hotel added 400 rooms to the complex. The pet-friendly property features a pool and a sundeck, dual fitness centers, and 330,000 square feet of event space. Guests have access to amenities and 250,000 square feet of meeting space at the other on-campus property, the 248-room Equestrian Hotel.

The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort opened this summer, marking the largest development on the island in more than 50 years. Covering 18 acres, the expansive property features 166 rooms, more than 31,000 square feet of meeting space, 800 feet of beachfront, and a saltwater lagoon offering wildlife experience with stingrays, turtles and more. To elevate the experience even further, all guest rooms come with the St. Regis' signature butler service.

Origin Hotel Atlanta

Less than 2 miles from the Georgia World Congress Center, the Origin Hotel Atlanta will begin welcoming guests to the city's South Downtown district starting Dec. 1. Plans for the property include 122 rooms and 2,500 square feet of function space; the hotel will be decorated with works by local artists.

Atlanta's largest downtown development project in 40 years, the Signia by Hilton Atlanta offers direct access to the Georgia World Congress Center by a pedestrian walkway. The 976-room hotel, which also is close to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena, has more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space, including an outdoor event lawn and the largest ballroom in Georgia, the 40,259-square-foot Triumph Ballroom. Other amenities include eight food-and-beverage options, a beauty bar, and a fitness center with yoga stations and Peloton bikes.
Westin Atlanta Gwinnett

The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett debuted in early spring between the Gas South Convention Center and Gas South Arena. The 348-room property includes more than 28,000 square feet of meeting space, a rooftop bar and a signature restaurant serving Southern cuisine with a Korean twist.

The brand's first location on Oahu, the Renaissance Honolulu has 299 rooms, and four meeting areas totaling more than 8,800 square feet of event space. A 25-meter lap pool, Himalayan salt saunas, a yoga studio and Oahu's first traditional ofuro soaking tubs are the draws at the eighth-floor Sky Terrace and Renaissance Spa.

An adults-only hotel, the Romer House Waikiki debuted on the island of Oahu at the beginning of June. The property offers 179 rooms, a pool and a bar, and more than 3,600 square feet of function space. Signature restaurant Izakaya 855-Aloha incorporates Japanese techniques and local ingredients.
Hotel Renegade
Opened: May
The Hotel Renegade recently opened in downtown Boise with 122 rooms and more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space. On-site dining outlets include signature restaurant Baraboo Supper Club, the Highlander rooftop bar and Blue Collar Coffee Co.'s fourth location.
Caesars New Orleans Hotel & Casino
Opening: Fall
Previously Harrah's New Orleans, Caesars New Orleans will begin welcoming guests this fall. Bordering the French Quarter, the hotel-casino is set to feature 340 rooms and nearly 21,000 square feet of event venues. The Nobu Hotel Caesars New Orleans will occupy 54 rooms within the tower, marking the third property for the hospitality brand. A Nobu restaurant also is planned for the site, serving fresh nigiri and sashimi.

The 87-room Origin Hotel Baton Rouge was unveiled in the Louisiana capital at the beginning of the year. The boutique property has more than 1,700 square feet of event space, a Cajun-Creole restaurant and a rooftop deck with views of Louisiana State University's Tiger Stadium.

In Minneapolis' North Loop neighborhood, the 123-room West Hotel's meeting space will total 6,500 square feet. Among the food-and-beverage options will be a stone-cellar cocktail bar, a rooftop bar with an outdoor terrace, and a signature restaurant by James Beard Award–winning chef Tim McKee.
AC Hotel Kansas City Downtown
Opening: October
The 238-room AC Hotel Kansas City Downtown is scheduled to hold its grand opening next month. Taking over the historic Rialto Building, the property will be half a mile from both the Kansas City Convention Center and the T-Mobile Center. On-site amenities include a cocktail and tapas lounge, a fitness center, and more than 4,000 square feet of meeting space.
Origin Hotel
Opening: October
The first hotel to be built along the Berkley Riverfront in Kansas City, the $30 million Origin Hotel will offer 118 rooms, nearly 5,000 square feet of event space and a fitness center with yoga spaces. The property will be within walking distance of the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Stadium, the first stadium built for a professional women's sports team, which opened in March.

Across the street from New York City's Jacob K. Javits Center, Aloft Hudson Yards will be the third-largest hotel in Manhattan. The 51-floor property will consist of 379 rooms, 8,000 square feet of meeting space, and a restaurant and bar with an outdoor terrace.

A collection of 11 cabins on the existing Scribner's Catskill Lodge property, the Rounds are modernizing the outdoorsy life in Upstate New York. Accommodations are equipped with wrap-around porches, Japanese cedar soaking tubs and gas stove fireplaces. Guests have access to the amenities at Scribner's, such as the sauna, the skating rink in the winter, the garden and the library.
Flat Iron Hotel

The Flat Iron Hotel was unveiled this spring in the historic Flat Iron building, one of Asheville's first skyscrapers. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 71-room property honors its past through the Flat Iron Folks exhibit, sharing the stories of tenants and businesses that once occupied the building. The 7,000 square feet of conference space includes a ninth-floor rooftop bar with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Uptown Charlotte Moxy
Opening: Fall
The Uptown Charlotte Moxy will debut in the latter part of the year near the Spectrum Center arena. Plans call for 208 rooms, 2,500 square feet of meeting space and a rooftop terrace.

Riversuites recently debuted in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood along the Delaware River. The hotel includes 62 apartment-style suites inside the Battery, a mixed-use lifestyle building that used to be the Delaware Power Station. Also on offer are coworking areas, lobby gathering spaces and an indoor basketball court.

The 216-room hotel will mark the first Canopy by Hilton in South Dakota when it opens in the fall. Less than a mile from the Levitt Outdoor Theater, the property will provide 22,000 square feet of event space, including a grand ballroom that will accommodate groups of up to 750.
Canopy by Hilton Nashville Downtown the Gulch
Opening: November
Set to open this fall in Nashville's Gulch neighborhood, the 181-room property will have more than 1,500 square feet of event space. Adjacent to the Music City Center, the hotel's American tap house serving local beers will provide all three meals, and the rooftop lounge menu will highlight Mexican-fusion bites and cocktails.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Gatlinburg Resort
Opened: March
Surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Gatlinburg was unveiled last month in Appalachia. Amenities at the 164-room hotel include a pool deck with a waterslide and a lazy river, a signature restaurant, and 12,800 square feet of event space.
Kimpton San Antonio
Opening: Q4
San Antonio's first Kimpton will open its doors near the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at the end of the year. The hotel plans to have 347 rooms, 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and a rooftop pool and lounge.
Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown
Opened: August
Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown was built in the historic former Hotel Annex building. The 188-room hotel welcomes guests with a French bistro, a rooftop pool and eight meeting venues totaling 5,000 square feet of space.

Between AT&T Stadium and Globe-Life Field, the 888-room property will be connected to the Loews Arlington Convention Center, which also is opening next year. The two facilities will offer 266,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Formerly the George Mason Hotel in Alexandria, Hotel Heron combines the historic property with a new adjacent building to offer 134 guest rooms. Among the property's amenities are a fitness center and 10,450 square feet of meeting space. The building originally was built in 1926 and operated as the George Mason Hotel for 45 years.

As part of a five-year expansion project, the Spokane Tribe Casino is adding a five-story, 175-room hotel, expected to open at the end of the year. Last summer, the casino unveiled Spokane Live, a 27,000-square-foot entertainment center and event venue that can host up to 3,400 people.

Debuting soon in the nation's capital, the Arlo Hotel will incorporate one of the oldest surviving apartment buildings in the city, the Harrison Apartments, which was built in the 1880s. There also will be a new 12-story tower with 445 rooms, 1,000 square feet of event space, and a rooftop pool and lounge.

The building that formerly housed the Bolgiano Seed Company, which provided lawn seeds for the White House and the National Mall, has been transformed into the 106-room Union Market Hotel.
