Visit Cincy, the convention and visitors bureau representing Cincinnati, Ohio, has announced a new interim leadership structure. The news follows the departure of former president and CEO Julie Calvert, who resigned at the end of January.
"Serving this organization and this great region for nearly a quarter of a century has been the honor of my career," said Calvert in a LinkedIn post. "It's challenged me, and given me the extraordinary privilege of helping tell Cincinnati's story to the world."
Julie Kirkpatrick, interim president and CEO, VIsit CincyAs of Feb. 2, Julie Kirkpatrick has stepped in as interim president and CEO. She will oversee Visit Cincy's daily operations, while continuing her role as president and CEO of the Northern Kentucky CVB. Kirkpatrick will focus on growing tourism to both destinations, separated only by a river and the state line.
As part of the new leadership structure, Candace McGraw has been appointed interim executive advisor for Visit Cincy. McGraw retired as CEO of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in 2025. In this role, she will support Visit Cincy's board governance and provide guidance throughout the transition period.
Visit Cincy's board of directors has launched a nationwide search to find the CVB's next president and CEO.
