Jeff McKissack’s goal is to help planners spot trouble before it arises. As an expert in the area of violence prevention and author of the book, Power Proverbs for Personal Defense, he has spoken on risk management and security at numerous conferences, including at IAEE and ESCA. McKissack spent the ‘80s working with an investigative reporter/producer for 20/20, Sixty Minutes and NBC National News, interviewing criminals for various news stories to determine not "why" they did what they did, but "how” — meaning he has some great stories as well as strategies to share. He conducts employee training sessions and continuing education events for the educational, medical, legal, financial, real estate, human resource, risk-management and insurance industries.
