Angela K. Vento

With three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Angela Vento transforms and inspires teams to lead with excellence. Her broad expertise in corporate, operations and sales for global brands like Marriott, Starwood, Stouffer's and Hyatt has taken her across the U.S. to major markets, including Boston and now Hawaii. From her first role out of college as housekeeping management trainee to now leading operations at the Wailea Beach Resort in Maui, Vento is proud to serve as the only female general manager at Marriott Hawaii's properties. She is the current chair of the Maui Hotel and Lodging Association and is active with many local tourism organizations and community groups. A lover of the ocean, Vento is often seen with her fins, snorkeling gear and swimsuit in hand.
