Northstar Announces Winter 2025 Hosted-Buyer Events

With the end of 2024 rapidly approaching, it's time to start planning to attend one of the many Northstar Meetings Group hosted-buyer events in the new year. This winter, meetings are being held coast-to-coast, with a new event in Hollywood and an annual gathering in New York City. Click here to view the full 2025 calendar.

IPEC

The Independent Planner Education Community will come together in Atlantic City Jan. 26-28. Produced exclusively for independent planners who are not associated with third-party organizations, IPEC will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel Atlantic City. Education sessions will be led by Mark Kamp, CEO of Millenia Productions; Beth Surmont, vice president of event strategy and design for 360 Live Media; Kurt Shaver, founder of Linked In to Meetings; Robert Brokamp, personal finance expert at The Motley Fool; and Eric Rozenberg, president and CEO of Event Business Formula. An optional business-growth bootcamp will be held on Jan. 28, with presentations on "Building a More Efficient Meeting Planning Business," "Financial Strategies for Independent Planners" and more.

Luxury & Wellness Meetings – Winter 

Renowned for its glamour, Hollywood, Calif., will play host to the first Luxury & Wellness event of the year. Taking place Feb. 19-21 at the West Hollywood Edition, the gathering is designed for North American planners seeking luxury or wellness-focused venues for their meetings or incentives. A glamorous property in its own right, the West Hollywood Edition features 190 rooms and suites, including two penthouses, 20 extravagant residences, 6,500 square feet of meeting space and a spa with six treatment rooms. The agenda includes morning yoga, one-on-one appointments and two education sessions. After a successful launch in September at the VEA Newport Beach, the meeting will also take place over the summer at Opal Sol in Clearwater, Fla.

SMU International

Northstar's annual Successful Meetings University International once again will be held at the New York Marriott Marquis in the Big Apple on March 10-12.
