Meeting and Event Venues

New and Coming Soon to Monaco

  • The Grimaldi Forum Monaco is primed for a massive expansion that will increase its exhibition capacity by an impressive 50 percent (64,000 square feet) by 2025. More than 14 acres of land will be added to the area surrounding the venue as part of a new Mareterra eco-district that will include residences, a park, a coastal promenade, a marina and a variety of other facilities.
  • Monaco prides itself on its eco-friendly initiatives. Groups will soon be able to make use of Monaco’s new Sustainable Events Guide, which will be available this fall. The Monaco Convention Bureau also provides an online tool to help planners calculate the carbon footprint of their events here. By answering a few simple questions, the resource makes it easy to estimate carbon admissions and it provides ideas about how to improve their footprint. 
  • Tickets are on sale for the next edition of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, the annual tennis tournament. Scheduled for April 6-14, 2024, the event features 56 players and takes place at the Monte-Carlo Country Club. Groups can choose from various hospitality packages, including Village Premium, which includes box seats, lunch and beverage service and other amenities.
  • The Jumping International of Monte Carlo, which attracts some of the best equestrian riders in the world, has been described as the Formula 1 world championship for horses. The Port Hercule area, near the ramparts of the Prince’s Palace, is the host venue for the three-day event, and it’s wise for planners to start strategizing early to ensure admission for the 2024 edition, which will take place in late June through early July. 
  • Fans of the legendary Cafe de Paris are celebrating the venue’s reopening after a major renovation. The 500-seat restaurant, which dates to 1868, is located on Place du Casino and features a French menu overseen by chef Victor Marion.

  • Groups can enjoy a flavorful experience at the Wine Cellar of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, which first opened in 1874 and provides a memorable range of programs for groups, including private tours, tastings and dinners for up to 38 attendees. With more than 350,000 bottles, the venue is well equipped to satisfy a variety of tastes.
  • The Hotel Metropole, a 126-room property with roots that date to 1886, has five meeting rooms. Its restaurant Yoshi has earned a Michelin star.
  • Monaco is known for its picturesque seaside locales, and one of the hotels that makes good use of the setting is the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel, a Relais & Chateaux property with a private beach, Olympic-sized swimming pool and spa. This Green Globe-certified hotel also offers a variety of water-based activities including paddleboarding and kayaking.   
  • The iconic Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is home to the famed Le Louis XV- Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris, with its three Michelin stars, as well as a beach club, Wellness Sky Club and Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, the world-renowned wellness and fitness facility. The luxurious, 208-room property offers eight meeting rooms.
  • The jewel-like Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo offers 11 meeting rooms, include the ornately elegant Salle Belle Epoque. The property's Belle Epoque décor extends throughout its 277 guest rooms and public spaces.
  • As the largest hotel in the French Riviera, the 596-room Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel is well-positioned to handle large groups. The property offers more than 48,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a seventh-floor rooftop deck and a panoramic terrace.
  • The 333-room Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort offers 15 meeting rooms and resort-style amenities for groups, with activities including parasailing, jet skiing and waterskiing among the options for those looking to make the most of the inviting climate. The hotel even has its own sandy-bottom lagoon, which is open in summer, as well as a spa.
  • Le Méridien Beach Plaza, offers 398 guest rooms and the Sea Club@Le Méridien, with 16 meeting rooms.
  • The 218-room Novotel Monte-Carlo, with its  terraces, gardens and Riviera-inspired decor, has 15 meeting rooms. The hotel is located in the heart of Monte-Carlo.
  • The 50-room Hotel Port Palace has a restaurant, La Mộme, on its sixth floor.
  • The boutique Columbus Monte-Carlo is located near the Princess Grace Rose Garden. The hotel has 181 guest rooms, one meeting room and flexible event spaces.
  • The One Monte-Carlo Conference Centre, located in the new pedestrian district near the Place du Casino, has more than 15,000 square feet of meeting space, including an Art Deco plenary room, an 82-seat amphitheater and eight meeting and event rooms.
  • For events with a spectacular view, the Monaco Yacht Club, overlooks Port Hercules. The private venue, which is available to groups under certain conditions, offers an eco-friendly clubhouse graced with more than 43,000 terraces. Event facilities include a ballroom, observatory deck and a bar.
  • The Salle des Etoiles, which was inaugurated by Josephine Baker in 1974, is an impressive event venue with a fabulous history. It’s hosted big-name stars from Frank Sinatra to Whitney Houston and offers spectacular settings for private events, as well as dinner-and-a-show options for groups.



Things to Do in Monaco

  • Planners can treat attendees to efficient and comfortable transfers with Blade, which offers helicopter charters between the Nice Airport and the Monaco heliport. The service, which is operated via H130 helicopter, makes the trip in just seven minutes to and from the airport, with complimentary ground transportation from the heliport to the passenger’s final destination in the principality.

  • Monaco hosts one of the most legendary racing events in the world, the Formula 1 Grand Prix. With the next event scheduled for May 23-26, 2024, this prestigious competition gives viewers an opportunity to witness breathtaking races through the picturesque streets of Monaco. Groups can upgrade their experience by booking prime grandstand seating and premium hospitality aboard a yacht in Monaco’s harbor.
  • Whale Watching Monaco offers private, sustainable tours that bring nature-loving participants up close to whales and dolphins in the Pelagos Sanctuary. On May 10-12, 2024, the 14th Grand Prix de Monaco HIstorique, which features historic motorsport vehicles. Both events provide breathtaking visuals on the streets of Monaco.
