Hosted-buyer registration for Northstar Meetings Group's Destination West 2020 officially opens this week. Destination West is the premier event for qualified meetings and incentive professionals looking to book business across the western region of the United States. Formerly known as Discover Colorado, the event now features suppliers representing destinations in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, California, Nevada and more.
Taking place May 19-21, 2020, at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., Destination West allows attendees to investigate the region's most desirable destinations, hotels and activities for successful meetings, while making invaluable business connections. The event will feature an itinerary of prearranged one-on-one meetings, as well as education, networking and delightful experiences with Western flair. At the 2020 event, Roger Rickard, founder and president of Voices in Advocacy and author of 7 Actions of Highly Effective Advocates, will work with attendees to examine and discuss meetings industry issues such as transportation, technology, safety and security, cyber‐security, taxes, infrastructure, diversity/inclusion and education. Ryan Oakes, magician and mentalist, will also teach attendees new skills and strategies for streamlining negotiations and business collaborations.
