Amy Wood
Manager, Accessible Events & Real Estate/Travel, Salesforce
Amy Wood is an Accessibility Manager with 15 years of experience in event planning, marketing, and project leadership. In her current role, she leads initiatives that enhance accessibility at Salesforce events, as well as in real estate and transportation. Amy focuses on developing and implementing strategies to address accessibility needs, ranging from physical accommodations to digital content. She has successfully introduced accessibility features at major events like Dreamforce, benefiting thousands of attendees.
Amy has also spoken at numerous conferences, including the United Nations, where she advocates for the importance of accessibility, aiming to inspire others to take action. Deaf since 5 months old, she finds her role in the Office of Accessibility especially fulfilling, allowing her to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
Amy lives with her wife Emily in Door County, WI. They share two black cats and a very silly dog. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, crafting, and vintage episodes of Real Housewives of Orange County.
Josh Klipp
Principal, Founder and Certified Access Specialist, Made Welcome
Josh Klipp is an attorney who specializes in the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as a Certified Access Specialist through California's Division of the State Architect. He teaches a certification course on event accessibility through PCMA,
and has worked with clients ranging from major universities to nationwide retailers to improve their policies, practices and built environments for people with disabilities.
