IMEX America Readies for the 'Homecoming for the Industry'

In the latest episode of the "Conversations with Carina" video series, IMEX chair Ray Bloom and CEO Carina Bauer revealed details for IMEX America 2021, which will take place Nov. 9-11 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
 
Bauer said this year's IMEX America, which marks its 10th anniversary, "will be …the homecoming for the industry."
 
So far, nearly 3,000 hosted buyers have signed up to attend the event. Bauer notes this is the fastest pace of registration the group has ever seen for IMEX America or its sister show, IMEX Frankfurt.
 
Exhibitor and industry participation is also expected to be strong, despite current travel restrictions. "We are hoping international travel to the U.S. will open up soon," said Bloom.  
 
Bauer also highlighted innovations for 2021, which include new venues and, due to the pandemic, a new show flow.  "We've put in a lot of effort to make the show very safe and very comfortable for all the participants, as well as fun and enjoyable," she added.
